You have to love a resist dial Pogue! and this truly is a nice example. £375GBP SOLD
A yellow 'T' dial 6139-6002 from July 1971: Crystal - Mint genuine NOS dome crystal and unpolished. Case - Original and unpolished just cleaned and in excellent condition. One small dent in case back and a few light scratches. Hands - Perfect & original. Reset to zero/12 perfect and quick. Dial - Much sought original yellow 'T' dial in good condition. One very small dent on the sub minute dial but no paint damage.I have priced the watch to reflect the damage but it's still one of the best examples I have seen to date. Movement - 6139A movement in superb condition thoughtout. Serviced but didn't need it. + 5/15 sec per day. 265AMP power! (that's really good for a chrono movement). 0.0 beat error = perfect. 48+ hr reserve power when fully wound. Bracelet/Band - Original Seiko narrow H link correct for this year & model. Fits up to 7" but I might be able to supply a extra link or two if needed. No promises though until I've looked through my stuff. I have also replaced the pusher, crown & case back gaskets with genuine NOS Seiko items but the watch has not had the crystal gasket replaced although it looked perfect and still nice and pliable. The watch has NOT been tested so I personally would not take it in the shower or diving for treasure but in theory... SOLD

Reduced. This is my final price on this watch or if no takers it'll go to the dreaded evilBay.
Just a note about the 'dent' as I've been asked by a couple of people why even mention it. I didn't notice it for a while myself. Even when I stripped the watch to service I did not see the dent and I had a jewellers loop to work with when removing and fitting the hand. It wasn't until light hit it at night one evening that I noticed it. You've really got to be actively looking for the dent to notice it. If this dial was perfect I would not sell if for a penny under £500GBP. Its a real nice honest example 100% original and genuine. It all started life as the same watch in July '71 and the watch came to me via the guy who brought it new.

What does a yellow 'T' mean? Didn't know folk other than me could post in the for sale listings. There are two colour shades of dial the R & T. The R is a darker shade of gold than the T. The T dial watches usually fetch more although personally I prefer the R. If you look at the dial between the 4 & 5 you'll see it says 6030'T' on this watch. Tone
