Just like the proverbial three-legged dog blind in one eye, I seem attracted to these "wounded warriors" that I scoop up out of the 'bay. You want examples? I can provide 3 recent examples: Basket Case #1 This one is coming from all the way over in Israel (they seem to have a plethora of Arnie and in my case, post-Arnie Arnies). It sat unloved for I don't know how long before I emailed the seller asking if he'd attach a BIN price. I got the reply of "Sure, how does $30 sound?" That was music to my fixer-upper ears. This one is still en route. Basket Case #2 This is an SKX007, if I am not mistaken. This was listed with a BIN of $59 or thereabouts. Listed as running, but MAY have a loose dial (I really like it when a seller refers to it as the face). I sent the seller a PM asking if he'd lower the BIN to $53 and got the reply "ok". Basket Case #3 This one I got today. It had a BIN of $60 and I didn't even spend the time to read the description. This one might be the least basket-case of all the basket cases. Of course I had every intention of flipping this one, but look at those hands and that dial! *Sigh* I think I know who's the basket case in all this mess..... Dan

That 6139 looks as if it has a lot of possibilities.

The last 2 look to be unbelievably great scores. Keep us posted.
Myself I love an automatic described as 'runs a little while when shaken, then stops' or 'needs a new battery' to go along with 'day does not change over when the crown is pulled out half way' on any 61XX series. Add to that 'quick set date is broken' on a 6602.
Congrats !
