I've got an SKX031 that I want to wear on a super oyster bracelet that I've got. Right now the problem that I've run into is that the endlinks are really jangly. I've heard this is because the bracelet is designed for use with the thick spring bars, but the SKX031 uses "normal" spring bars.
I ran across someone online who said that you can chop off the ends of a pair of fat spring bars and put the tube over your normal spring bars. Is this the best way to solve my problem? I can't even think of how I would chop the ends off in a way that wouldn't totally deform the tube. Any ideas?

Thanks for that tip. I've got a customer right now that regularly snaps 1.8mm and 1.5mm spring bars. So this will be a good alternative.

Cool, that seems like it could be the answer. Thanks.

I have had success reducing the tinny jangle of hollow end links (like on some NY0040 bracelets) by putting some clear silicone sealant on the inside. (And I mean the inside of the bent metal link, not the little hole the pin goes through!)
It lowers the resonant frequency of the link, and they may be still be making some sounds, but I don't hear them.
