Wow, that IS cool! Thanks for the link, man. I wonder if I can adapt a strap, or a neck lanyard... Maybe I can use it in my old truck! - Thomas

Smart phones have obsoleted carry-on alarm clocks but I still have a soft spot for the folding travel alarm clocks of days gone by.
The OP's clock may just be a Christmas present for me to buy to give someone to give me (family dynamics).

Nice version of a wallclock...very modernistic and clean font and hands. I see many wallclocks when the wife and I go to a mall dept. store. Official wall clocks as in stores, outside frontage are usually Citizen or Seiko models. I have bought several used Seiko small desk sized clocks and placed around the apartment. I am using an orange watch on a stand sitting on my computer case as my visual watch!

Meet my alarm clock. This thing would wake up the dead! Nice, just love the Transistor clocks, do you have to push start that one? My desk clock has a small red pusher that needs to be used after changing batteries

I have a smartphone and I still use an alarm clock... Mine is a Timex though. I bought it because it was the loudest thing I could find.

that's a nice looking clock. and I like the idea of it being silent. I have clocks without second hands that still tick louder than a cheap timex. so annoying.

Well, now that I am retired an alarm clock is no longer required. Me too!! Well, if I really have to get up early, like to go on a day trip with friends ... or work on the US financial markets while they're open, I use my cellphone, not even a "smart" or Android, just a "candybar" Nokia. OR, if I can time to get my Bellmatic beater back in shape, I'll use that! My normal bedroom "clock" (no alarm) is an old Waltham pocket watch (one of my Grandfathers, likely paternal) in a holder/stand sitting on my tocador (umm, dresser).
