Hi Guys,
Does anybody know if a Dial and a bezel are available for a 7002 Modd I am thinking of getting done, Especially the Blue Dial, Blue Bezel look. On a 42mm 7002 it would look pretty cool.
Thanks for any help
Mark

Hi mate. The after market Asian crew will have what you want, make sure you get a wild set of hands at the same time. I did a 6309 case, yellow dial, black ladder hands with lime green second hand with 6319 movement. This is a 23j movement upgrade available from Seiko with includes a hacking lever. Cheers Phil

Hi. There is an upgrade from Seiko which makes the 21j 6319 a 23j hacking movement. I have had my watchmaker add this to my watch. Cheers Phil

They would upgrade a 6309 to 21 jewels and a 6319 to 23 jewels. I imagine they would boost the 6349 to 25 jewels.

Clip the dial feet on a 7s dial from dagaz. Take a look at his selection of inserts, I believe he has a few blue ones. He also has a wide variety of hands, though I don't recall Mercedes hands. His hydro hands would look quite good though. For the chapter ring I'm not sure. He sells them for skx007 and the like, but I don't know how similar they are and if one can be modded to fit a 7002. You can also send yobokies an email to see what he has. His photobucket account shows a lot, but it seems like people show stuff they got from him that I've never seen on there.

Hi mate. It's been a while since I did one, so I will have a look and let you know. Just now, we have and Kangaroo v Kiwi 4nations grand final about to start. Been on the bike all day and converting coopers pale ale into waste product. Cheers Phil

Hi Mark,
Micah is on the money. Jake at Dagaz should be your first port of call, from memory he has all the parts you need.
I have modified a few 7002's myself;-
The early 7002 will take the same 32mm diameter crystal as the 6309 so you could fit a domed one or even a Bubble Boy if you want.
Dials will be designed for the 7S26 etc and the feet will need cutting off and the dial sticking to the dial holding ring.
Custom chapter ring is unobtainable, you will have to paint an old one (unless an SKX one will fit a 7002, which I have not tried).
Bezel inserts at Dagaz will fit, ditto hands.

I just researched this topic for my own 7002.
There are NO aftermarket dials for your watch that will fit without first removing the dial feet. The only dials I found are the original style dial in different colors with matching chapter rings on eBay.
There are aftermarket hands that are accessible, not sure of the sizes but there seem to be a few on eBay.
Bezel Inserts are a much better story, any of the 7s26/SKX bezels will fit your watch, I for instance have the DLC black bezel from Harold Ng (Yobokies). If fits perfect in fact it is so well machine that it is an interference fit without any glue
Also as stated before the first gen (150m) watches have a 32 mm crystal which is the same as the 6309. The later 7002 (200m) use a 31.5 mm. For a domed sapphire be prepared to spend 50+ USD.

Yeah mate. Can't find it either. The one Jake has is very good if you don't mind the cut and glue scenario. Cheers Phil

Thanks Guys for all your input Its all to hard, I think down the track I will keep the watch true and just get one of you to service, fit a new crystal and re-lume the dial and hands, and polish up the case back to original.
Cheers Mark

Hi mate. The design concept sounds great. Why not do the same thing on a 6309. Cheers Phil
