My Daughter found this one recently at a yard sale and I'm thinking of buying it from her but I know nada about it. Model # is: 8223-5270 Anyone familiar with it? TIA Sadly however the end piece is bent......I wonder how hard it would be to find another band for it? Here is the actual watch... notice the "bend" on the clasp right at the top near the lug? Can that be fixed?

No help on the watch, but what is that emblem under SEIKO on the dial? Is that the lion head thingy?
Oh, I'm sure the bracelet clasp can be fixed. I've bent more than a few back in shape.

According to a past listing its a Seiko Quartz SQ King Lion I also found out its only 35mm Wayyyyyyy small for me but I might get it from her anyway just to have it!

The movement is a plain old Seiko quartz on those.
Nothing special and not a King anything unfortunately.

I like the emblem, why don't they replace the stupid 5 badge with that?

India seems to love that model. Looks great with a pink dial.

India seems to love that model. Looks great with a pink dial. The "watchmakers" in India do seem quite "innovative".
