A while back our WS Member Solex posted wanting to try a stainless steel case back to replace his see-thru 7S26 case back. He offered up a trade of his see-thru but I just wanted to help a fellow Seiko enthusiast out so I PM'd him and sent him an old surplus screw-on SS replacement. No strings attached. No charge. It's what we do on WristSushi. So today I receive a package back from Solex. He not only decided to not use it and returned it, he also generously tossed into the envelope a nice multi-color NATO for me ! What a great token of appreciation. I've never owned a NATO so this weekend I will be experimenting which one to put it on and see how it works out. One hand washes the other, one member helps out another, the first returns the favor with dividends. THANK YOU SOLEX and a great reminder of why WristSushi Rocks ! We are the #1 Seiko forum on the internet - not currently the largest by member count but give us time !

Yep!! This really is a great hang out!! I have to agree too. Wrist Sushi is quickly becoming like the original SCWF without all the nonsense that came after Wayne Lee passed it into other hands. We have the great and generous members. We have the people with the skills and knowledge to fix our watches. We have the people who can mod and or restore our watches. We have people with a lot of knowledge about our vintage Seikos and Citizens among other brands. This is pretty much a one stop shop when it comes to places for the enthusiast to hang out 7dfe79adc2f0

This place needs more beer in the fridge, someone keeps taking the full strength and leaving the diet beerβ¦.Peter? On another note, you can't pay for beers with Swiss watches!! So whoever left the TAG please remove it pronto

hey in this day and age, just sending the unused back is commendable. including a thank you gift is mind blowing!
now if I can just get buyers to tell me they received the item I sold them.

As a relative new comer to this forum as well as a member of another Seiko forum, I can honestly say that this forum far exceeds my expectations in many ways. I have recently started a small collection of vintage Seikos, namely 6139's and 6138's. I continue to learn very valuable info on this forum and appreciate it every day. The members have a wealth of information to share which I am continuously looking for. A big thanks to all of you.

Ebay buyers can be frustrating. Some of the feedback I get on the tools makes you roll your eyes. Guys...its a CUSTOM HOROLOGICAL TOOL, made in low volume. Have you seen the prices of decent horological tools these days? It cost me a considerable sum to tool up to make those things (in the region of $2500). Sure, I'll sell them for $5! The prices of those tools is not more than a few beers. Geez, a "light" night out on the town here will cost you at least $250. Moving on, WristSushi is a great place because people here are like minded and light hearted. I can say slightly controversial stuff and not get banned and my posts don't mysteriously vanish into the ether. Also not every post here is "WHAT STRAP SHOULD I PUT ON MY 6309? ? PLS GUYS? ?".... hey in this day and age, just sending the unused back is commendable. including a thank you gift is mind blowing! now if I can just get buyers to tell me they received the item I sold them.
