I was thinking we ought to have an ongoing thread showing off some BIN bargains, those fantastic deals that are often listed by the unknowing. I know some folks don't want to show them off, or have others show them off, 'cause they consider it gloating... like rubbing a bit of salt into the wound. Oh well. I can't even imagine how many go by that I never see, that's why I'd like to see them posted up. Here was my latest, certainly not my greatest but a pretty decent deal. Sawtooth for 119.99, www.ebay.com/itm/131348225731?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITNow, here is one I missed. I wouldn't be posting this except it's been almost a month and surely it has been shipped/received by now. I saw this one listed, clicked it, and was met with: THIS BUY IT NOW LISTING HAS ENDED." Dangit. just missed: www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-men-divers-seiko-watch-/271650527548?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3f3fa2193cAnyone here...?

Holy cow....$119.00 for a Sawtooth....I would have jumped on that too! Maybe I should just retire and check Ebay all day long.

Awesome deal. I've been casually looking for one of those in all silver, got 2 of the gold/silvers but not that one.

I'll fess up... and say hello in my first post. I've used SWCF and before that WUS but recently was encouraged to join here by Spencer - suppose this is as good of a first opportunity as any. It was pretty crazy - I must've seen it within a couple of minutes of it being posted and even then I was kind of amazed. Lucky for the poor description, I guess. Forgive the lousy photo, but she's definitely wearable with a new crystal and a Wjean Waffle. In the same category, but less crazy, I snagged this Orient Touchtron in pretty much NOS shape for $125 as a BIN. Seller had two (!), both listed as an auction with a BIN option of $125. When his other one finished at auction it brought in $380. Not a common model and I wasn't even sure it was a great price until the end. My BIN: 191205469411. Seller's second one: 191204661594. Kind of a bummer for him but on the bright side someone at least bid on the 2nd so he still got full value, even if it informed him he'd underpriced the BIN. And last, while not the deal of the century, I got this very nice 6217 world timer with its fully-length original band listed as a BIN for $200: This one I saw at least an hour after it was listed, but the model number was listed incorrectly (251561365938). It was even listed as needing a new crystal but when it arrived it was nearly perfect. And yes, I do check ebay pretty compulsively. I love these "finds," and as I'm not very wealthy, they sure do enable my collecting habit!

I picked up these two for £150 on ebay-uk about two years ago, it's still my best bargain by a long way,

Description says bezel only. Is that what you were after?

Yowza! That's gotta be some kind of ebay record for a good-looking 6105. Maybe any, for that matter. Tough to be sure with those photos but it looks like an absolutely stellar example. Congrats!

I snagged THIS one, for $45 a while back. It needed a bezel insert, but came together quite well.
