A mate of mine offered me a J Springs Perpeptual Calender Code JSPBJC008 / BJC001 does this sound right? Does anybody know what movement name ECT is used in these watches, and how about build quality.
Regards Mark

Hi Mark. J.Springs is a Seiko sub brand. We don't get it here and it is pitched at a lower price point than Seiko. I would have thought you would avoid. Cheers Phil

Mark, I think it's the 6a32 movement, often found in the Seiko SNQ series of watches. I had an SNQ045 for a while but didn't bond with it. The movement worked well, and it's far easier to reset the calendar than that on the 8f56.
Edit: The J Springs perpetuals I saw on ebay were largely from sellers in Australia.
