which sold for nearly $180? Does anyone else know why it sold for so much? I knew it would fetch some money, but not this much!

Hi. As you say, the seller is a nice bloke, wheelchair bound Vietnam vet I think. He got a lot of the stuff I missed when we picked up old watchmakers stuff, he started selling it straight away. BTW I have that part you want please pm me. Cheers Phil

6105 movements really are climbing in value, it's amazing. Yep. Only five different models used the 6105 movement. There was the famous diver, but also four dress models...the 600x, 806x, 808x, and 809x. This is one of those dress models. It's a 1968 6105-8060. Rare watch in and of itself, but it will definitely wind up being a movement donor. I think I have a steel cased one here somewhere.
