How did I get here? Well, I was looking for an SNM037 using Google, Ask and Yahoo and discovered Wrist Sushi. I am on a few forums including WUS, SCWF, Seiko Club Singapore, PMWF ... but never came across Wrist Sushi. Very glad I did as I have developed a love affair with Seiko - from the venerable grails (6215, 6159s, 6217) right through to modern watches (divers mainly). A few months ago, I discovered that spring drives sweep (rather than tick like quartz watches) and, so bought SBDB001, SBDB009 and a GS SBGA071 which I am using as my avatar here. Posting is not one of my strengths but I lurk and buy - seldom sell. Look fwd to being a part of this community!!

A BIG from Surrey, B.C. Canada! You're going to love this place. It's chock full of characters and other folks who love watches. There is a wealth of collective knowledge hear so don't be shy about asking questions. You will also find that this forum is home to some pretty awesome watchmakers and restoration folks. Enjoy yourself and even if you aren't a prolific poster, we look forward to anything you might have to share

Thanks for the warm welcome! I thought I'd share a photo of one of my Christmas presents... Great size, weight and spring drive accuracy.. Sorry for the dismal photo - looks much better on my iphone. It's a Seiko Ananta SNR019 from a great seller in Thailand.
