At the risk of being ridiculed off the Forum (who really uses all these functions on a watch?) I found myself looking at this BIN/OBO listing and making an offer of $35. The seller agreed. What the heck - maybe it will be a new travelling watch for me. I am equally enthralled and put off by the very busy dial and bezel. Too bad it wasn't a 6138-7000. Seller's picture: Do you have one of these? If so, what's your favorite use on the dial/bezel? Dan

At that price I would have grabbed it so fast even before you could blink an eye! Well Rene, it needs a battery and a crystal - so we're treading very close to "deal-breaker" status! I hope to take better photos upon arrival. D.

That's a busy one, looking forward to better pics. Is the crystal readily available?

That watch has too much information overload for my old eyes. Very true Carl. I just recently got my eyes checked for the first time in my 47 years. I now have "1.5 readers" for my reading. *Sigh* Youth is wasted on the young.... D.

The condition of the bezel was what put me over the top on this - it appears as if there is very little if any damage to the text on the bezel. Seeing as how I abhor flying, I can now measure my panic moods in relation to the speed/fuel consumption/altitude of the plane! Ha! D.

I love these watches. Hell I don't even use the functions, don't know how. Read about it one time, my eyes kinda glossed over. The deep dish dial just looks cool. I have the black, bought used in all it's scratched up glory: And then Wifey actually bought this one for me as a gift, picked it out all by herself and surprised the heck out of me, I was so proud... Functions? We dont need no steenkin' functions.
