I would love to see it after you get it back from Jack. Unfortunately the price you paid is about what the 6105's in that condition are bringing. I would be worried about the seller with a 98.3 rating.

I spoke to the seller before I bought it. Seemed to be honest and straight forward. All it takes is for 1 negative feedback from some DB buyer who doesnt know how to use ebay to throw off your percentile and make you look like a bad seller, its happened to me as well. Ill keep you guys updated

I think you've done well, an excellent choice for restoration, should look as good as new when Jack's worked his magic.

It's the resist -800x's that are uncommon-to-rare, the Proof/Proof designator is for the -811x's.
Congrats on getting an original ZLM01 - and looking forward to the resto!

I agree, I think you've done well - especially with that band on it. It seems to me that most 6105 divers on the 'bay never have a band/strap/bracelet and you end up having to get one.
Very nice pickup. It looks to be in great shape, I'm of the school of thought to send it to Ft. Collins CO just for a movement & gasket job - I don't see too much cosmetically wrong with it regarding the patina.
Very nice pickup - enjoy that baby.

Yeah. I thought the price to be fair for an unmolested version. Service only and then I would leave it alone. The guys who bought these on R and R in the P.I. often put these locally made bracelets on them. Cheers Phil
