I've been obsessing about 6309 hands lately.
The photo below is taken from an ongoing auction of a 6309. Based on what I've read, it has a Singapore dial and its serial number (4D1572) dates it to December 1984.
Are the hands on this one authentic or aftermarket?
My recently acquired 6309 also has a Singapore dial, and based on the serial number (4D4592), was also produced in the same month and year (December 1984).
Do the hands on mine look similar to the ones above?
Thanks for looking.

The hands on both watches look good to me. They both look fine. There are almost no differences between Suwa and non-Suwa beyond dial printing. Major stuff like hands etc are identical. The only other differences that I routinely see are with how the lume appears, or ages. Non-Suwa lume tends to get a peppery grey look to it. '77 lume tends to a slight butter yellow color. Etc.

Mine are like that also, and the other type of dial code with the full length ........ " Cased in Hong Kong ". 7049 That's also correct on the ...... " Lume ". Also mine have a very slight different ..... " RED " " aging process. ( The 7040 regular Dials. ) That one is aging very nice too. Markers ....10,11,12 ...... are showing it real nice. The right side is starting to show a lot also real soon. It will look very ..... " Choice soon ". Many a time when they are exposed to the ....Sun Light , they will look different , then return back to what it was. Gamma Rays is their enemy.
Some have just accelerated and rotted off after exposure from what I have seen. I had to re-do two I had here. Two good nice Dials too, but it had to be done. So I found out how to un-strengthen the (Lume Glow) reading about them. Now it is like they were only better to look at. But still show aging. Guys told me it all about the mixing strength of the Lume material.
