Seiko 7T34-6A09 Project Watch Head Restoration.

Ok here we ... Go :

I am going for the .... Challenge on this one .........   :dance:

Seiko 7T34-6A09.... :    November,  my ...... " Birth Month Too ".

Watch is totally stripped down.

A quick run down should be enough for this part now.

I need to know please, how do go about cleaning the ..... " Stain On The Dial  "  ?

It looks to be real light and very thin, maybe just a smear that has dried up.

Recommendation to this Watch is very much welcomed because I never did this before.

Also how do I remove the Crystal from the case.     ( Is there a Special way to do this ) ?

Do I press out that inside retaining ..... RING ? 

Or Just by the Crystal ?

Movement will be for later because it is water damaged and rusted. So I can do that later on.

But I am very happy with this project and will complete it.

All advice will be very well received and appreciated.

UPDATE : Not wasting any time.

I remembered the a post  ..... Tony ANZAC / Tony Cockroach ...., mentioned this.

A - Saliva....  for The Dial : :winner:         Well I tried it ......  It took care of it, the .... " STAIN IS GONE ".

1 - ( Q-Tip And Saliva )      (  Thank you Tony Anzac ).

2 - Next the Crystal Removal and I be just fine.   ( Done and Out )

3 - Pushers are all good ....... ( 1 stuck yet ),  No C-Clips also. ( C - Clips from C0xx  Aqualands are the same. )

4 - The main Hands (Long )Stem has to be replaced,          other is just fine.

5 - Then the parts chasing, a new world be will opening up.  

6 -  Problem ............  a totally new (7T34...movement ), has to be found , but I am not giving up.

These are interesting.  Seiko made them from 1988 to the late 1990s or early 2000s.

This causes a problem with their SN dating system.  I believe once they hit 1998, Seiko started putting a punch mark either before or after the serial number to denote later production.

Does yours have a punch mark?

This the watch apart and the Dial cleaned up good now. Next the Crystal I think

I will find another one if possible. Got it off with some help from siralan, Thank you Sir.

Well I have a Up Date to this one :

I did the repair on the old movement with the parts watch. But it appears that it has the same

" Effects as it did before ", so on to find a replacement movement if possible. But I got it to run

again and the challenge was worth doing it, being it was my first time at one of these.

I think I can do more of them now......
