Thought I would join a site with Japanese watch enthusiast. I am almost finished with my original 6309-7049, I have owned this watch for 35 years. I am a a&p licensed aircraft mechanic and we take apart and fix just about everything with a parts diagram. Tore into my 6309 about a year ago, was fascinated with the movement, that is how it all started. Watch has been dead for 8 years, bought tools needed and with due time, sourced parts. I am in the timing phase, learning as I go, just about finished. Thanks, all!

Welcome to the forum! Hope you get your 6309 back on your wrist soon, it's like well worn, favorite pair of jeans.

Make yourself at home. (If "sa" stands for San Antonio, I have many fond memories of the place.)
