Hi guys I'm a new member and collector of Seiko's mainly dive watches i will post some photo's when I figure it out. So this was my xmas gift "to myself" I'll upload some more soon. First impressions on the Emperor tuna are I love it. It gains exactly 12 second's over 24hours, i was expecting better any thoughts on if it will improve over time, or not would be appreciated. As I would imagine the cost of specialist knowledge for strip down and regulating, to be expensive.

Welcome to Wrist Sushi, we're glad you joined us! Posting pics is easy, and I recommend using Flickr. I created a step by step tutorial, it can be found HERE.

Is the tune new or used? It doesn't sound all that good at 12 secs per day but it is well withing spec.

It's a 2009 watch and been sitting in a Japanese pawn brokers store for 3 years apparently, could the lube have degraded? Anyone know the cost of cleaning and regulating?

You could have the watch regulated to be a lot better than that; 5 seconds per day should be easily achievable unless there is something wrong and why it was in a pawnshop to start with. This is a quality watch so you shouldn't hesitate to have it properly looked over. Contact Seikoholic(Spencer Klein) here on the forum. You can discuss options with him and see what you want to do from there
