I've got the day off and as it's my birthday week I thought I'd wear a birth year/month watch. [/url]

Nice dress watches guys. Considering selling my entire collection and just buying dress watches from now on. We shall see. Been wearing old faithful for days. Stefan came over with his lovely partner the other day to visit and see my clock workshop. I demonstrated my Casio G-Shock's ability to survive Tony for the past 24 years by chucking it at my marble fireplace. Try that with your Pogues or Grand Seiko's!

Been flat out, hence lack of posts. I've got an M154-4019 on. It's got the wrong colour reflector though. It's supposed to be silver, so I'm on the hunt for one, it's part number 4521500 if anyone has one. This thing is so nice, I got it with a gold one for $20 in an ebay bad photo auction. It's near mint and still has the original case finish. I kinda like it with the yellow reflector but the compulsion to return this rarity to stock overrides that. The block module on these makes connection to the oscillator and battery via pogo pins. All that was wrong with this was a pogo pin spring that was bent, plus a chunk of crust on the battery terminal. The inside of these is NICE, they were designed to be serviced from the outset. Another note, the calendar only goes up to 2002. You can set the calendar to 1970 though and it has the same day layout as 2015.

New arrival today! a ultra clean and completely unmolested Seiko 7549-7010 "Tuna" from June 1982 And believe it or not, It was purchased from the original owner who was nice enough to also include the factory box and instruction booklet. You just don't find them like this anymore folks....

With the CDN buck tanking these days, reckon I'll be content to swap straps/bracelets for a while..
