Hi Chrono guys, The "favorite auction site" bidding price on this "Vintage 1972 SEIKO Automatic watch [5 Sports Speed-Timer] 6139-6032 21J" is up to US$665.   I know it is in nice shape, but is this a rare or special model?  - Thomas |

I would think it is VERY rare - I've never seen one with the word "Forward" on the dial. It looks in immaculate condition too.

Rare variation of a rare variation, in astonishing condition. Merely OK-condition examples of the generic model bring $300 and more these days, head-only. On the bracelet? Rare sub-variant? In that shape? Hold on to your hat, we could end up miles from here.

I dig that countdown inner rotating bezel. Guess that's why it's a "Forward"?
Also the whole color scheme just rocks.
You guys who collect 6139's have just gotta be in it to win it.
