Wabi'd old warrior arrived yesterday after a long stay in the original owner's sock drawer. Now the search for a crystal begins. That UFO or ashtray has always been on my radar. Very nice!

It came up eBay for a really decent (but not insane) BIN price. Shawn found it, remembered I'd been looking for one, and alerted me. I waffled for a couple of minutes, and then bought it. I figure the fact that it was listed during the middle of the Super Bowl might have helped. Shawn won't watch NFL football, so he was doing other stuff.

Saw it listed but I'm not in acquisition mode. Yup, Shawn found it for me, and remembered I'd been wanting one. Here we are.

I vaguely remember visiting that temple back in about 1967. The one thing I remember is the squeaky floors that were designed to warn the inhabitants of intruders; mainly ninja!

My prettiest 7546 today: WRUW_2014-07-10 by clair_davis, on Flickr She's gained 38 seconds since I reset the time for DST... 38 seconds in 96 days is pretty dang good for a 37 year old movement! Clair

Clair I've got that exact model, but don't love the original bracelet that's on it - what bracelet is that? Did it come to you like that, or did you find it and put it on?

Clair I've got that exact model, but don't love the original bracelet that's on it - what bracelet is that? Did it come to you like that, or did you find it and put it on? Thanks! I put this bracelet on it - the original bracelet is not super durable, and I haven't been able to make a whole bracelet that fits me from the parts I have on hand. I'm using this bracelet while I continue to collect parts. It's a super-cheap ePay item that I think is identical to this current auction: www.ebay.com/itm/Classic-Solid-Stainless-Steel-Curved-End-Watch-Strap-Band-Bracelet-18-20-22-21mm-/400830943569?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item5d5362d151I don't recall if that was the seller for me, but the bracelet looks pretty much exactly the same. It's really well made, and the end links didn't take any work to fit pretty well with the 7546 lugs. Solid links, so it's pretty beefy compared to the OEM bracelet. For <$10, it's hard to go wrong...
