Have a 7A28 7049 and notice that the bracelet pins loosen and start to come out once in a while. What is the best way to secure these in place so not to lose one? The pins only connect the last two links closest to the clasp. The others pins beyond those look fixed in place. thank you Brian

I think I saw something like this at Esslinger's. Check out the section of the site with spring bars. There are also "friction pins" and "link pins". www.esslinger.com/watchbandspringbars.aspxI think something like this is what you need to replace.

Another thought would be red or blue loctite, but I have no idea how well that would hold up.

Three options.
1 - source new pins
probably impossible
2 - slightly crimp the two outside sections of the bracelet to grip the pin better
you'd have to do this very carefully so as not to mark the bracelet or damage it
3 - slightly bend the pin (so its curved)
this is the easiest option and the least obtrusive
If it was me, I'd go for option 3.

I think the pins should have a flare at one end. Check the good ones to see what they look like and that may give you a good idea as to how to fix.

Thank you for all the responses. I ordered new pins and in the meantime i will try to bend them in an arc like Siralan says. Much appreciated

I'd put a friction pin through, then at either end ball peen them out a little so it's firm and won't move. You might need a staking set to do that.
