Hi, I'm selling my '76 Seiko. Serial number starts with "6N". I've owned this watch for 6 months. It's been worn regularly about once a week. Keeps pretty good time for its age. Runs a little fast. Starts easily and has a good reserve. The pushers feel very good. Start, stop & reset are all very positive. The dial looks great. No fading. The bracelet is good. It's not perfect; you can see that it's been worn, but it's original and looks cool. Wrists much over 7" will need an extender or a larger clasp. This is a quick set date model, where you push in the crown. Works as it should. Totally inconvenient imho. The crown is pretty small and setting the time is a bit stiff. This, combined with the fast running makes me think the watch would benefit from a service. As old as it is, it definitely needs gaskets. I have kept it away from water. However, once while taking a walk on a very cold day (below freezing) I saw a small amount of fog inside the crystal. I stopped wearing it outside on cold days. The crystal looks great, but you'll probably want to replace it because it has a small hairline at about the 3 minute mark. You can't feel a crack, but you can see a line. Please ask any questions. I would love to see this watch go to one of you guys on this forum. With a little love, it will run another 30 years. Thanks!
