Well i have kept this to myself for a while as i seen it and i am a little fussy to say the least when it come to original watches and when i will looking for a recent purchase as always i look here to see if what i am looking at measures up....so after doing all my research and speaking with the seller...something started to stand out in pics...there were two obvious different watches...small differences that if i was new...i would never even think to look for...but when i questioned the seller ...he told me it was lighting and it was 100% original and pics were of same watch...but even the case back numbers did not match..i want to call him out and ask why he would try and deceive people...these are not cheap models...but i have learned with age....go with caution...i would love to know what you all think...he is a seller on the good old bay and has many Seiko's listed all the time...no sure how many he really sells but after what Killsnapz spoke about before...it got me thinking...don't we have a responsibility as members to help and protect those who are new like we once were ....well this is just my rant...but maybe i am just idealistic to think that honesty should be in everything we do...God Bless John
well on his own feedback this was written...so i know i am not crazy...more than usual...
Picture and written description was different.

A couple of years ago there was a guy on all the forums that used to sell on eBay with stolen pictures. He eventually got caught out when he posted pics of two and possibly three different watches in the same auction...only one pic may have been of the watch offered This seller has likely changed his eBay seller name so letting everyone know who this miscreant is would be a public service.

Well it is a old feedback but it might be gone..i recently started really liking the 6117 after helping Cockroach find a few and when i sold most of my collection off...i told myself i wanted to find a particular one a 6117 6400...really like the colors and i wanted it to be all original...so i found one listed on the bay and after a few conversations and really looking at the pics...you can tell they are two different watches...little details but big red flags to me...and when i asked about this i was told i did not know what i was talking about and then seller stopped talking to me the watch is still for sale on the bay...it is very easy to find..just look at the inner bezel and hands and case back and band...this person was a fast talker and reminded me of a car salesman...and i see he sells lots of watches...and uses the Turtle to describe the 6309 cushion cases..i am just worried for new sellers or unexperienced ones...i just recently got snookered with my 6139 but to a few great people here on the forums it is on the way to being made right...i just felt it was right to bring this to everyone's attention....when i know of a great seller...i am the best friend and will gladly tell others...but to blatenly steal other pics...represent it as what it is not...that gets under my skin...money is hard for everyone and to see sellers do this...it is more than wrong...it should not be allowed...
