I am really loving this watch. Let's see yours....
I am stalking the yellow dialed pepsi 7030 but so far it has been very ellusive.
Thanks.

I really like this watch even though I try to shy away from quartz watches: Very accurate. Dan

I have a few. I'm wearing this today (the 7A28-7030) this next one was a grail for some time, the 'Ripley' 7A28-7000: then we've got this bit of bling (7A28-7020) and this 7A28-701A superb watches with the 7A28 movement.

I'll play . . . all of these have been in my family since new: This was my Dad's before he left it to me: This one was a gift from my parents (don't recall the reason) This one was my college graduation gift

Got to love the 7a28's i have had a few pass through the collection - I have let them go and then really regretted it - so am now on the hunt for a few more... Wearing my 1988 RAF issue today - a fantastic little watch. Others include this one: And this 'Nightrider special'. I am not claiming that Michael Knight actually wore this watch - but I bet he would have liked it!

I had sworn off all quartz watches except my G-Shock. But then I discovered the 7A38 and had to have one (or two).

One of my first Seikos is this, my favorite of the 7a28's, the -7020 (aka Bond Chrono):

These look awesome funkster - I came close to buying one, but then I found out how surprising small they are. According to the measurements they're only a shade larger than a regular Seiko 7S26 dress watch, but what are they actually like to wear? I think I've decided to try and pick up a cheap 7A28-702X, as they seem nearest in size and shape to the RAF, and see how it is to wear before making a final decision on the RAF. I'd be interested to hear any owner's opinions though? I know what you mean and if you are used to a seiko diver or similar it will feel far more slight... i wear mine on a chunky NATO and it feels fine - however I dont mind slightly smaller watches.

I knew you had another one Seiko got these dials nailed. They fit three sub dials in without chewing up any of the hour markers. They either left them out or worked it out so they were complete. I hate munched hour markers

These 7Axx watches were famous in the 1980s for being so well made....no plastic parts, if I recall.

I'd be interested to hear any owner's opinions though? I wear big watches quite a lot (in fact most of the time) mostly divers but also some chonos. I guess it may be that I've worn the 7As since the '80s but it really doesn't bother me. In fact, it can be a nice change to have a watch that you don't know is there until you look.
