Now I know most of us have a few choices when it comes to the question of "which watch should i wear today". And I'm as guilty as the next guy of spending far too long selecting exactly the right timepiece to suit the occasion, the activity, the weather, to match my socks etc... but sometimes, you put on a watch and you just think..."why change!?" this often happens to me when I wear this particular watch... I could get all geek-mode about the extra jewels and the replacement Kanji whatever... But basically I put this watch on last weekend... I have not even considered changing it all week... it has brought a smile to my face at least 10x a day, every day...and I reckon if I wore it next week it would do the same again! Don't get me wrong...I love my Seiko collection... but I really love my 6309!

I second that Funkster. Been off on leave for the last week and my 6309 is the only watch I've worn all week.

Never liked the look of them until Stefan sent me his to do a little work on. He had a genuine saphire crystal with a blue tint in his watch. Wow they look so much nicer in person than in a photo. I can totally understand your love for this watch.

As I have stated many times before...I will say it again: If i had to wear one watch for life, the 6309 would be it. all the boxes checked here.

I am guilty of changing watches every 5 hours or so! Since I am semi- retired, I have time to stare at my watches and polish / wear each one as whimsy allows. But lately the MMaster is always one of the rotation watches. My excellent 6306 is collecting dust:(

My excellent 6306 is collecting dust:( Shame on you Thian - well it's been said many times..."too many watches...too little time" but I would always say "you've always got time for your 6309"! (or 6306... but that doesn't rhyme!)

No sense in filing a new daily report when it's gonna be the same one as yesterday. This one has been a TOTAL wrist hog lately... I am not saying it's perfect, but I can't say it isn't perfect, either!

I find that more often then not, there is a 6309 on my wrist. It kind of makes me just to think about them.

(or 6306... but that doesn't rhyme!) remembering that kids' phrase...shame, shame...double shame! hahaha! I even thought -briefly- to sell off the 6306! But I say to myself I would never find another at my local used stores .....I did see a used 7548 wanting $200!!! and it had a fading pepsi bezel....I used to find these here for under $100 !!

I only occasionally play the WRUW game. That's because I find watches tend to hang on for dear life and it is distressing to take them off sometimes. Having said that though, I just found myself yearning to put this one on... It's about as close to a submariner clone as you are going to get. I like it for the unique advertising and the way it wears
