Hi folks,
Yes, as strange as it sounds, when I bid for this beautiful 1975 Seiko, with it's hand-wind, automatic, hi-beat movement, I knew I was never going to really wear it. ;-\
Sure I might try it on when it arrived, but that would be it! Have you ever bought a watch like that?
Saturday I had to venture out in the damp, bitter cold to retrieve this big ol' EMS bag.

Inside is the tidy package that is the trademark of one of my favorite auction site sellers.

And inside the manila envelope is this nice watch box.

Whoops, I had it upside down!

And there is my newest purchase, a lovely 1975 Seiko Lady Weekdater 2706-3110. It is a neat watch, with a 28800 bph, handwind, automatic movement hidden in the tiny little case. It also has a cool bracelet, a slinky smooth steel thing with a cool clasp and safety chain.

Here is an overexposed closer picture. (Sorry!) The movement does not hack, but it does "back-hack" with just a little reverse pressure to the crown.

Here is that crown...

This picture shows the cool clasp and safety chain, with some of the slinky bracelet. You pass the clasp through the loop on the "tongue" side then fold it back over onto itself.

Here is the case-back.

And another shot that shows the cool bracelet and clasp.

I figured you would like to see a wrist shot, so I tried it on, and it fits me just fine!! :-O
Hmm....
Nah, I'll give it to my Mom! :-D It is HER birthday tomorrow, after all!
I wonder how this bracelet adjusts for length?

Thanks for looking!
