Do you ever come upon a Seiko and say I gotta get it even if it might not be your style? Well here is one of those. It was inexpensive enough to take a chance on and I am a sucker for Seiko divers. Here is the description from the seller... "The second is a Seiko 6309-7280 F1 stock dial with custom chapter , bezel, and hands by Harold Ng with a NATO Strap"

Um...interesting? Not a 7002. Not a Seiko dial.

The bezel insert may have come from Harold and a slight chance the hands depending on how good the lume is but the dial and chapter ring is straight from the 6309 puppy mill suppliers.
The only colored dial 150M divers from that era were all quartz.
But if you like it that is all that matters.

Looks good and it is different and you will grow on them also. 6309's especially Divers are like a .... " Giant Magnet " they will attract you. 7dfe79adc2f0

I agree with you all, I found a few sources for the watch but I think some of it may be franken. The number on the back was 6309-7290. It has been running spot on and is doing well. Usually it is not my cup of tea but it is a welcome change from my other "regular" "original" dive watches. Much Aloha!

It's cool . . . if you dig it . . . all the better.
