I used to have a Tissot AutoQuartz (TM). I don't really see the point though. Batteries (capacitors) still need changing about every 10 years and the layman can't do it himself, it still needs wearing or the power reserve runs out, and you get the quartz 'tick tick'. Just get a quartz and be done with it. That's a nice looking watch though.

That way I know they are fgood for three years and I don't have to fuss with them. Kinetic was an answer to a problem that has long be solved. With 8 and 10 regular year batteries, there is absolutely no reason for kinetic technology.
