Thanks. Came via Tom Hickman of hickman-watches.com Very pleased with it. Much prefer it to the 62MAS I had. Problem is so many are made up out of spare parts now their values have gone through the roof it's a mission finding a nice honest example. Tom got this one via the original owner. Still has original lume and bezel loom dot.

Hi folks, Today I am wearing my 1963 Seiko Champion Calendar, model J13078, with a caliber 860, 17 jewel, hand-winding movement, that runs at 18000 bph. This is a very accurate watch, with a neat sea-horse on the case-back, but lately I have come to appreciate how stylish it is, yet in a very simple, un-ornate way. It has simple, yet superb hour markers and hands, silver star-burst dial texture, with hands long enough to properly reference their hour, minute or second markers on the dial, clear and classy dial fonts, and I really like how the date window has that simple black outline that works so well to "pick out" the date display. Yet another inexpensive Seiko vintage treasure! :-D It seems like the selection is endless!! Thanks for looking! - Thomas
