Hello everyone! So a little back story, to how I found this site, and a little about me.
I got somewhat into watches while I was in highschool, (I'm now a junior in university) but basically I just bought what I thought looked cool and was within my price range, so I ended up with some cool looking watches, but with no sense of taste. About the same time, my dad got into watches, but thanks to his buddy Mike, who I know is a regular contributor here, his first watch was a Darth Tuna (one of the special edition ones that only 300 pieces were made). When I saw that Darth Tuna, my mind was blown. It was absolutely gorgeous. So naturally, I started talking to Mike about watches, and he got me hooked. I read all about the movements of watches, and learned all about the different models of Seiko's and really refined my style of what I liked, which is dive watches in general, but more specifically tool dive watches. So now, 4 years later, I finally bought my first Seiko, a SRP234K1 number 0351 of 1300 made. I'm now in the process of getting some other Seiko's and got an SKX009 through a trade of one of my old watches, and am currently saving for an SBBN007. Like I said, Mike told me about you guys, and I've been reading some of threads especially about maintenance of watches, because I want to start doing my own maintenance, and modding some of my watches. Thank you for having me guys! I look forward to being part of this community!

 Thank you! Also, is that Seiko yours in your profile picture? Because it's gorgeous. What's the modal number? Looks like the SKX007 but I know it's not

Welcome Elias. Glad you joined up! Vintage Seikos are great to collect and the diver models offer plenty of variety. Chronos are also cool so check them out when you can.
Enjoy your stay!
