The Seiko SRP234K1

Hey guys!


This is my first review here, so pointers would be appreciated, but I thought I'd write a little review of my Limited Edition #0351/1300 SRP234K1.

I'm the second owner of this watch, but the guy that had it before me never wore it, or took it out of the box.

Just some Specs of the SRP series in case you don't know:



Case Diameter: 48mm

Movement: Automatic

Engine: 4r36

200m

Band Width: 22mm



So here are my observations:


As far as aesthetics go, I think that this watch is gorgeous, the gold details with the black are not gaudy,

but they make a statement.  



As far as lume goes in the watch, I'm an incredibly light sleeper, so I wake up frequently in the night, and I can always

read it, so it stays luminescent all night basically.


One thing I really was not pleased with, was the Silicone/rubber strap that came with the watch. It was very uncomfortable,

as well as the indents in the band takes away from the aesthetic quality of the watch overall, and that's why I'm sporting the
5 ring Zulu.

Interesting that you want to replace the bezel. It's designed this way to reduce the chances of the face of it and the crystal from being damaged.

I too like black with gold accents and don't feel they are gaudy or blingy at all.

Part of this review I pulled from another review that I wrote, and I forgot to take that piece out, so I'll do that now, but since the time that I wrote that part, the bezel has actually grown on me a lot, so I think I'll keep it the way it is. Honestly, because of it being a limited edition, I am not too keen on modding it anyways.

Also, thanks for directing me to that image thing, I fixed it so the images are now embedded! Thanks!
