I haven't had time to take a pic yet, so I found this old one. In your mind, put it on a flat-vent Z-22....

As soon as I unpacked the watch I took it apart, the dial and hands had some lint. I cleaned the dial and hands Polished the acrylic crystal (this was an option) Polished the case Removed the bezel and insert with great difficulty Surprisingly the DG-2813 movement keeps great time a 2+ of seconds over 20 hours. The problem with the bezel is that it is too narrow to get any torque, I checked a Boctok bezel and it looks like it will fit with some vertical play, perhaps a Murphy bezel is in order. The retaining wire is too small in diameter causing the bezel to be very loose. I replaced the retaining wire with a .020 and now it is nice an tight but will be difficult to turn due to the width of the bezel. The insert is now drying after it has been re-glued. I also ordered the brown Tiger Concept branded gilt dial and matching gold tone snow flake hands. I may replace the insert but will wait and wear it for a few months, perhaps when I get the nerve to pull the bezel again.

Time to fire up the grill. The shot is just a bit early for the "What's for dinner?" thread.

Nice Big Russian Diver " very soon never had one. Maybe even one that needs fixing. That is a very nice one too. Congrats on that one :winner:

Been absent for a bit, had some life events get in the way of all things watches (and anything else) Getting back in the groove with my new pick up, the 7017-8000 "Pulsimeter" on its original bracelet.
