leaving chronos running, is there any reason to do that with my 7AXXs? I don't recall having seen the issue addressed.

None that I can think of (other than to prevent the oil from congealing maybe?).
Being quartz, the chrono function is driven by individual stepper rotors. These are off (no current) until the chrono function is switched on. Thus there is no braking force being applied or clutch being engaged.

Thanks. Running them periodically to move the oil around a bit would be a good idea, then?

Thanks. Running them periodically to move the oil around a bit would be a good idea, then? I do when I wear mine. Leave the watch on the wrist for a while to let your body heat get the watch warmed up then let it rip!
