I can't find one on evilBay other than a 1970 resist with a grungy dial.

Sorry, it was a mistake I thought it was in February 69 but it was in 79 because on my phone it was difficult to see ' resist or proof ' so I ask him to put more pictures, and I saw resist.
But I found on yahoo japan a silver Proof but the reference of the dial is " 6040 T " it could be correct ?

That'll come up lovely! Congratulations. Shame about the naff relume but easy enough to sort out Now you need to find a Stelux bracelet and end links that they all came with as far as I am aware. Those can be harder to find than the watches! Also the split seconds hand but those are not so bad to find on a donor 6139-60xx.

I have to find the stelux with the good end links , for the rest it's OK.
For the bracelet in any case i'll put the XAA 301 jdm , i love this one and the watche is from Japan . The stelux will be a bonus.

Is it just me or does the dial look a bit "off"? The Seiko logo looks a bit crooked towards the O, the Proof looks a bit crooked (only slightly - could be the pic) and the black test also looks a bit off?
Granted, I'm not that familiar with the silver dial versions but to my old and feeble eyes, the quality just doesn't live up to what Seiko manufactured.
Don't mean to pee in his Cheerios but it just looks a bit off to my eye.
