I thought we had a 'What have you got incoming in the mail'thread but couldn't find it so here is the Official one Since I'm starting this, I guess I better give it some content. A few weeks ago I got this lot from Ramon... I bought the lot for the 6119s but the 6309-836a turnes out to be not too bad apart from the crappy insert and a wrong crown. So, I grabbed this lot ... Thinking that I should be able to make at least one decent watch from the three and maybe even a nice all original beater. I know pics can be deceiving but it really looks like the one on the left has a greenish sheen to the dial. If that is real, I think I'm going to be very happy with it! Two good and original cases with original bracelets together with at least two good dials and decent original hand sets make me think these purchases are going to turn out just right. There should be two good watches in the whole bunch and maybe one to 'mod'

I'm in a bit of "old seiko quartz chronograph"-fever... so: I have a 7005-8052 incoming. Pics when it gets here. Decent price, but? Had that on my list, but decided against it, as it was usd 50 shipping to Germany. And I already own one of these. So, congrats on a steal.

The final price was about 20-25% of others I've seen.

Couldn't resist, went for the starting price of 250 Euros: It's got scratches and dings, but really nice ones are unbelievably expensive nowadays. Also, I got the matching bracelet for 18 Euros on local classifieds... Will post pictures when it gets here. I am now contemplating if I should get a bezel and crystal replacement. But I'll see that when I have it in my hands...

I will claim a psychotic break later, but this is on the way to me: I blame Youtube, because until I saw the hypnotic movement of the second hand in a video, I had no burning desire to chase one. I am genuinely worried (in a good way though) that a significant number of my watches are going to lose out on wrist time. Might be having a fire sale.......

When you're hot, you're hot.... I recently scored a vintage G DW5600c from Europe and tis on its way. This morning I was googling info on the other model DW5700c which was made the same time as the DW5600c when I found a 4 month old ad from a well known seller ttsugar in Taiwan. He had tried to sell his 5700c in April 2015 but no takers. I just contacted him and bought it! )) So there are t G Shocks in the mail! Montage DW5700c by blingmeister, on Flickr

I'm still a little shell-shocked over finding it, but this 1963 first-model Grand Seiko in platinum just cleared customs. It's a single-owner watch, in a complete set including original buckle, box, papers, hang tags and June 1963 chronometry paperwork. All parts outside the strap are original. The watch comes with May 2015 OEM service paperwork, and is reported to be running to chronometer spec, +1 sec/day face-up with a full wind. The case on the platinum 3180 is solid pt850 - (85% platinum by weight or ~20karat), resulting in a 57g case weight vs the 38g weight of its gold-filled siblings (which are ~3% gold by weight - 14KT gold layered over a brass core). From the dial emblem, I believe the indices are also solid platinum. I am not sure about the hands. The buckle is 15mm and (rhodium?) plated brass, so I'll probably put it in storage. It's a museum and heirloom piece - one of the Seikos so rare as to be almost mythical, and I can't remember being more excited over an incoming watch. On the downside, I'll be selling more than 8 watches to help cover the cost, but generally they're replaceable or upgradeable, and I probably would have sold or upgraded them at some point anyway. I expect to wear the watch in rotation with the rest of them, so you should see it in the WRUW threads. I also have this xxx/200 SBGA071 on the way (made the deal before buying the GS above, or it wouldn't have happened) - picking it up on Saturday. This is my favorite modern Seiko diver, and I'm excited to find one on the secondary market, as I couldn't swallow the price new:

Oh my, the GS Chronometer is a real stunner! The GS diver's not bad, too, but what a watch the old GS is! To find it in this condition is a rare find indeed! Can't imagine wearing a small car on my wrist, but hey - there are it's brothers and sisters out there that are not platinum

Hi guys, this is my first post here, and here is what I've got coming in the mail tomorrow. It's S. Klein's 6105-8119 that he restored and was planning on keeping but let go a few weeks ago, so it's gonna be a real pleasure to wear something that has been fixed up so well.
