Well, one is a 300m limited edition homage to the 1968 6159-7001, with the 8L35 movement (+15/-10 sec/day). The other is a regular production Seiko 'Sumo' 200m SBDC003, also known as the Blumo (for Blue Sumo), with the 6r15 movement (+25/-15 sec/day). If you aren't inspired by the difference, I recommend the Blumo. A lot of the price of the SBDX012 is the exclusivity. You can get a very similar SBDX001 (AKA MM300 or MarineMaster 300) for significantly less.

thank you o kind sir =) this really open my mind... im not a scuba thing 200mm will work well for me Glad to help. The Blumo is a favorite of many Seiko fans, but you should also consider the SKX007, which is also 200m but can be found for < $200 including a bracelet (which you have to buy separately, and can choose what you like for yourself). The SKX features the 7S26 movement (+40/-20 sec/day), and is probably the all-time favorite for best values in Seiko divers: One of the reasons for the popularity is its similarity to the vintage Seiko divers, like the 7548 (image from Google image search): And the 6309-7049 before it:

The Sumo is a great watch. I love mine and it's very accurate. Very substantial and well built. Some say it's too heavy but I've got big wrists so it doesn't bother me.

Just for the record, my LEAST accurate 7S26 watch (same movement as the SKX007) is +/- 10 seconts per day. I used to think that I was just lucky but now I think that they are actually way more accurate than Seiko says they are, and Seiko only gives such a wide range for liability purposes.
