WTF? Item 191562083857 just went from US$46 to $US810!! Hold on to those 27-jewel Bell-Matics folks! Soon they'll go for over $1000! - Thomas

I saw one just last week or a couple of weeks ago that went >$800! It made absolutely no sense to me. Even with shills, I don't think people will end up paying so much for a bellmatic.

In auction 191562083857, that 1***s bidder bid 96 times in 2 minutes and 58 seconds, taking the price from $52 to $810. That's more than one bid every two seconds. This is the sort of thing that give Fleabay a bad name.

And I thought saitama was supposed to be one of the better sellers on the bay. I am sure saitama_jp has nothing to do with it. Just a jack-ed up eBay twit (or two) playing games with bidding. I'm sure saitama is pissed off, it screws up the auctions for legitimate buyers. - Thomas

Two days before in fact. Edit That is item#171761775882. 191562083857 went to $405, but the $400 bid was posted before 1***s made any of his bids.

Cool, now I know I can safely retire from my pile of Bell-Matics!
Seriously though, do people have their collections insured?

You must be right. I've followed saitama_jp for a while now and every other listing has seemed normal up to now. I saw this similar bidding pattern on another Japanese seller's listing for the same model just recently. reed0702 was the seller. And I thought saitama was supposed to be one of the better sellers on the bay. I am sure saitama_jp has nothing to do with it. Just a jack-ed up eBay twit (or two) playing games with bidding.
