I've been wearing the same watch for five (?) weeks or so. Maybe longer. So prepare to be bored.

I've been wearing the same watch for five (?) weeks or so. Maybe longer. So prepare to be bored. Great! Valjoux 7750? How's it running? Oh, like a dream. Just beautifully. I'm still doing micro-adjustments, fighting between the urge to see how tightly this will hold to online time, and how much I don't want to keep opening it up. But it's got a beautiful little fine-adjuster on the balance cock, and it's fun to play with. I'm getting it to within a few seconds a day. This sort of puts things in perspective though. I have guys who ask me to get their 6309s or 6105s to a strict "X seconds per day accuracy", and they clearly have no idea how hard this would be to do even with a watch of this caliber, much less a 40+ year-old Seiko 6xxx three-hander. I get to explain to them exactly why this can't happen, and how averages work. Fun.

A Sinn-fully fine looking watch! Thanks trandy. I like it but. I didn't think it through before I sent it off to Spencer. He put it together just like I asked him to, although a couple of things now bug me about it. I'll live with it for now, though.
