I would love to have some of your recommendations for watchmakers to service my Grand Seiko family. Mostly movement servicing and refurbishment, along with crystal replacement, but I also wonder of there is anything that can be done about the stained dials on two of these, and all the cases could use some respectful TLC. I know there is Jack's service at IWW, and they seem to be the top of the class, but they have 6 month wait times. :-/ I believe Randall Benson (aka Dr. Seiko) could do the work, but sometimes he seems a bit distracted. I have asked Spenser, but he is overbooked and he didn't seem to specialize in these watches or be into refinishing. I love the work of Duncan (The Watch Bloke) and I have not approached him about any of this work, but he also doesn't seem to do a lot of refinishing. I saw a thread about King Seiko repair where someone named Adrian was mentioned, but (my apologies for the ignorance) I don't know who that is. So any suggestions? I am sure there are reliable, qualified watchmakers out there, so come on, give up your secret service source, so that so they too can be overworked and overbooked! - Thomas
