So the very rare Seiko chiclet bracelets that came on the, I guess 6138's & 6139's if someone was to stumble upon on in good condition with endlinks. What could he expect to pay or what would be a solid offer on one. I tried to look on ebay or past history and can't find any prices on these. thanks

150-200 I'd say would be the going rate. I paid over $100 for a similar one ages ago. I guess it would depend on how badly someone wanted one. Personally, I wouldn't go overboard for one. I don't recall ever seeing any Seiko advertising which showed one as original to a 6139 or a 6138. Although they may be original in some market areas that would cause one to wonder if maybe they had been installed by a sales person from another watch just to help make a sale.

Yes, That's true and they are out there in limited numbers because there seems to be so few. I guess, at times, we like to have the "smoking Gun" which would be a Seiko ad to confirm what were finding. Spencer did post some interesting sales catalog photos a while back that show a proof 6139-600x on a chiclet bracelet but it's not a Seiko brochure. wristsushi.proboards.com/thread/4990?page=2

I'd imagine that Seiko provided stock photos or illustrations (along with the model numbers and specs) to this distributor for the purpose of this brochure. That being said, it would stand to reason that all the photos Seiko provided represent actual variants. All the hands are at 10:10ish, which is where they are always parked for Seiko catalog shots. If I had to guess, I'd say this brochure was probably made available at BX/PX locations, and the like.
