What would you recommend for working on movements ? Thanks. I have a 3.5 dioptre swing arm with a single incandescent bulb. If you can get a 5 dioptre swing arm with an incandescent donut ring bulb that would be perfect. It would also do for most of your movement work. For the really close up stuff, you are probably best with a 10x to 20x loupe. These can be hand held, eye mounted or on a visor. Of course if I had the money I would buy a stereoscopic microscope with adjustable zoom. My current set up; the 3.5 diaptre swing arm and a 10x hand held loupe; works well though.
