Trying to get my wife into a solar. Think this one might work once I get the strap changed to a link bracelet. Got the watch today and the bracelet (14MM) is on order from a different vendor. (Had to confirm the lug width before ordering the bracelet.) The watch arrived ticking normally once the crown insert was removed but is receiving additional charging after setting the date and time. The bracelet change should be easy since the lugs are drilled. Pic is Amazon's vendor pic, I haven't messed with photographing it yet, it only arrived 6/20/15.

Got the mesh bracelet. Good thing the vendor provided 14MM springbars with it because the springbars from the OEM watch were a tad to thick to fit into the mesh bracelet. Hardest part was adjusting the clasp, but I blame my own ineptness for that.

Nice clear and clean face on that one. My older sister would like it. She works at an airport and loved the old vintage Seiko 80s watch I gave her. But it broke (?) and I offered her something else. She really wanted something like yours...!

Mission accomplished (she's wearing it). Easy to remove the strap as it had drilled lugs (strange Casio did not provide same for equivalent men's model). The original spring bars didn't fit the mesh bracelet as the originals were 1 7/8 MM wide vs 1.5MM for the bracelet, but the vendor provided proper-fitting spring bars with the bracelet and even threw in an extra pair.
