I received one of Larry's ( UncleSeiko) Oyster bracelets a short time ago. These bracelets have been climbing in price for quite some time and they were to the point of causing me to look for other options. The "big guys" have gotten too big for their britches and have been pricing their bracelets accordingly so it was a nice to see Larry bring one on line at a reasonable price. I compared Larry's bracelet with the competition side by side and link for link they are identical. You can't tell them apart. Larry's is on the right. The only differences I can see are in the clasps and in the spring bar holes. Larry's has spring bar holes that will accept the large fat spring bars which he includes with his bracelet. The higher priced competition that I had on hand uses regular spring bars, which to me, aren't a good choice for a heavy dive watch. Larry's bracelet also came with solid end links which fit the case very nicely and it measures 7" in length so when installed on a 6309-704X will fit up to about an 8.5" wrist. I had to remove two links to bring it down to size to fit my 7.25" wrist. The higher priced competition bracelet I had on hand has a longer clasp with four adjustment holes. Larry's has a flip lock clasp with two release buttons and three adjustment holes. Is four holes over three a big deal? Is it worth the extra cost? I'd say not. The final check was wearing it to check out the comfort level. I'll have to say after wearing all day and splitting a truck load of fire wood, Larry is right! This is one comfortable bracelet! Thanks Larry for making these available at a Fair price level!

Seeing as I've just ordered two of these I'm very pleased with this review.

I received an UncleSeiko oyster bracelet a few days ago, and agree with SeikoPsycho absolutely.

Any comments or concerns about the links using pins vs. screw?

Any comments or concerns about the links using pins vs. screw? I didn't have to resize mine, but I have bracelets with pins and with screws. Frankly, I like pins best. I'm always concerned that a screw will come loose. It's never happened, but . . ..

Any comments or concerns about the links using pins vs. screw? Some issues I've run into with screws is they can be over tightened and stripped if you're not careful. I haven't had any problems with pins as of yet.

Screws are awful. They always oxidise and you can't get them out or come out all by themselves! Any comments or concerns about the links using pins vs. screw?
