Shawns OUTSTANDING case work re-finishing! I have owned the 6105 for many years now and altho the case was in very good condition to begin with I wanted it even better. I missed the boat before when Shawn was doing work and had to wait until he got back into it again but as soon as he did...... I jumped!!! For any of you contemplating having any case work done I highly recommend his work! I have a couple of other pieces done by him but this by far is the BEST! These images really do not do justice to the fine work he did and does but I hope they are good enough so you can get the idea! Thanks Shawn VERY, VERY much for the outstanding job!!!!!! thunbsup.gif

Shawn is a great fellow. Responds to any and all questions promptly. We are lucky to have him here. And don't forget that he also can do Trip Lock conversions aside from case refinishing. So go ahead and bid on that 6105 with a non locking crown ;-)

I just wish my Navy SEAL friend that I initially bought it from could see it now!

Ahh! You did receive it today.....very glad that you are pleased with the case work! i unfortunately didn't have the foresight to take "before" photos...but I can help out here with some macro "after shots. I recut the bezel angles as well as straightened out the top case lines. The rear surface of the case was completely smooth and devoid of the brushed factory finish. its a great watch and the bubble boy is awesome icing on the cake. Rene, it was a true pleasure doing the work for you best shawn

I too forgot to take "before" pics but it's no biggie! I kept trying to load the macros you sent me but for some reason they kept popping up as HTML images instead of jpeg format! The case back in particular was one thing before that really bothered me with it's lack of vertical lines! I agree too about the BB......... it sets the whole watch off perfectly. Even tho the BB is not original to the watch I still have the original crystal for it should I ever chose to put it back on!

Ahh the Bubble Boy.....probably one of the biggest decisions I will make in the near future. I only have one 6105, should I go BB or the double dome...both from Jonathan of course ;-)
