This one showed up today, not a scratch on it...very nice. I guess it'll be a piece to put in the safe, for the time being.

I hear that people think that I am crazy. Why, you ask? Because I love the 7002 divers!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes1.gif Great Find!!!!! I always read that the 7002 was a crap calibre. Then I got a couple and I went through them and found that they are anything but crap. Sure they were parts reduced to the lowest level possible but every one of those parts work just fine. The calibre is easy to work on; there is no shortage of parts or even original dials. I like my 7002s equally as well as the 6309s and a little better than my 7sxx watches. I too love the case design; dial; hands and how well they perform. I drive a computer and these watches never run low on reserve. After a day of wearing; I can take them off and they will still be running 36 to 42 hours later chinathumbsup.gif

I love 7002 too.. At this time, 7002 entering 20 years era, or called as retro time. It means, the value begins to going up.. So, collect now. Don't wait until over price like some olders that has enter vintage era such as turtle, 6105 or 62MAS..

I agree with Jamsatoe. I also should get some 7002 pieces sometime soon.
And yes, that's a great find, my friend. Wear it in the best of health . . .

cool, you bought that? Awesome! It'll be kick-ass. A movement shouldn't be hard to come by. Nice pickup!

Don't wait until over price like some olders that has enter vintage era such as turtle, 6105 or 62MAS.. 7002s have been denigrated for way too long. Undervalued for way too long. They're definitely due to rise in value. Guys used to say that 6139s were dime-a-dozen, and that paying more than $100 for one was silly. One just hit $757 on eBay. Granted it's a rare proof with the insanely rare chiclet bracelet, with it's original (rare wooden) box and paperwork, but that's just insane. Buy your 7002's now.

I love both my 7002s... One of mine no longer runs (keyless works issue) and the other is a Loyswatch purchase that I rare wear only occasionally. There is something about the dial with the date only that really appeals to me. Am very jealous of the NOS pickup! Seiko Bullhead chronos were fairly common and 6105, 6309, and 7002 calibre divers were a dime a dozen in thrift stores around me 25 years ago. Did I buy one? No, I was into neither divers nor Japanese watches at the time. Doh!
