That looks really strange - can't say about the case, sorry. I just did a quick composite for another thread, but I think it could be relevant here, too: Comparison of fake and real 6309-7040/9 dials: A repainted dial (Loy perhaps?), as the chamfer on the date window was exactly as the original.

So this 7006 8030 has been listed from the Philippines (I know ... 1st alarm, right) the seller admits to a re-finished case, a new bezel insert (which is brutally shaved and looks naff) & a new crystal. But its the re-finished case that gets me interested, is it refinished or reproduction? The case (especially the back) just seems too clean? I'm pretty sure it's refinished. There are also some eBay sellers from South Korea who refinish cases in a similar fashion; a bit better than your standard over-polish job, but certainly not close to factory finish.

The case has been brutally refinished to maximise it's saleability, the top lefthand corner (underside) shows the original damage that's been "refinished". There are better watches out thereā¦.

Perfect comparison. Maybe we can get ready to generate a new 6309 guide . I'd love to help if it ever comes to do that. That looks really strange - can't say about the case, sorry. What do you guys make of the bezel on this 7002-7001? Aftermarket or OEM? The rest of the watch seems fine, but that pip size looks a little off as well bezel ring appears flat and protruding outward.

I would grab it in a minute if the price was right.

I just might. It's sitting at a good bidding price atm and ends at 4 tomorrow. That or might try to snipe this other 6309 that's way cheap right now. Help with this one please? i.imgur.com/l4DJwV0.jpgHow does this look to the trained eye? Any parts looking suspect. Seller says pusher and chrono hand isn't quit working.

I noticed that, too I can't get a clearer picture of the dial and I don't know much about these. I think it might be too much as it is anyway.

The dial seems original. Can't see the pushers; they should be the piston type ones found on this and the 6139-0020 Tokei Zara. From what little I know, the tachy bezel might be original, too.

Anyone happen to know off-hand if the Presmatic 5146-7080 was offered with a blue dial option? Thanks.

They get better... Here is a photo of a panda on ebay: still, they can't seem to get the "SEIKO" right. And the Suwa symbol is off, too. If you look carefully, the dial also seems too thin - the day/date windows have bare metal showing on the sides, which should be painted, correct?

Another 6N3147. Seller has a fitting name, too.

My 6105 is back from Dr Seiko and is running strong with new gaskets, and I am very happy with it but if any one would like to offer me original dial and hands at reasonable price I will gladly put them on. Attachments:

Opinions on this Bullhead? Hands might be newer? That's just based on the condition of the lume on the batons. Rob
