They need a proper aviary. Even the new one is so limiting that they can't really get the exercise they need. One or ten; it's just too small for those little songsters With your wood working skills; you could build them a home they would be comfortable in; healthy and really love thunbsup.gif

The only problem is getting the Flight to be "critter proof" We have SO many predators here that its a challenge!

The only problem is getting the Flight to be "critter proof" We have SO many predators here that its a challenge! That's what shot guns are for. This video demonstrates the various gages... www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnT723O5fZgI once owned a double barreled 10 gage with a solid wood stock(no recoil pad). I made the over excited mistake of accidentally pulling both triggers at the same time! Equally unfortunate was the fact that, at the time of firing, I was perched on big old log that straddled the pond upon which the incoming ducks were trying to land on. No ducks were harmed and I was unceremoniously pitched backwards, off the log into a couple of feet of really stinky, brackish water. The laughter of my hunting companions hurt way more than the humongous bruise that formed on my right shoulder Wish I still had that gun. I bought it for $10 at a second hand store and that included about 4 dozen custom loaded shells!
