Looking to trim the collection at some point in the near future. Will still keep a bunch, but curious what Seikos you would put at the top of your list. Here's the catch....the most obvious choices don't count...6217, 6159, 7549, 6306, 6309, and 6105 divers; 6139-600x, 6138-001x and 6138-700x chronographs. These would all be keepers, so let's go deeper.
Outside of the most iconic classsics, what would you consider your top three?

Nice choices. Don't have any, but have always liked the SUS!

Top three?
Wow.
I can tell you what isn't in that top three in terms of daily wear - all of my 7A28s, 7A38s, 7A48s. No 6105s, not a 6309 either. Even the 7549 hasn't been getting wrist time.
I've been wearing a classic $49 G-shock or the 7002-7039 almost exclusively. Third one to get time is the SKX007.
Thinking about it, this is mostly because we've got the new baby, and the last thing I want is to be cleaning spit-up off of a watch, as I had to do the other day with my 7002. So.. this list is invalid.

It is, indeed hard for me to limit my Seiko models to three. Ok, let me make my list:
1- SBCM023; 2- SKX173 (and 007J); 3- 7C43; 4- 7548; 5- And 6117-8000 GMT.
Whatever Seiko I sold in the past, I always regretted and got them back. Nowadays I'm keeping the pieces in my collection.

1) SKX007 2) Citizen 8200 3) Citizen Promaster.
Yep, two of my Top three Seiko's would be Citizens (rofl)but that's what happens when you take away my 6105 & 6309 laughing1.gif

Pfew!
Probably based on the amount of wrist-time:
- SBBN007 Tuna; - Black Monster; - FFF mod (the one with gold accents);
Or if the mod does not count as a true Seiko, it would be a toss up between the SKX007 or BFK, both on rubber...
When I get home I'll have to have another good look at the treasure chest to ensure I did not forgot one!

Nice choices. Don't have any, but have always liked the SUS! That SUS is a bit on the small side and it's quartz so I changed my mind and put in the little Seiko 5 mil watch. I've had a couple of SUSs along the way...

My first choice would be my late father's 7546 2nd choice is a 7005 3rd choice is really tricky, I'll go with this for now but if it came down to it, I'd spend weeks deciding.

I'll play. I guess the three I would keep (not counting the ones you said we can't mention) would be my Sumo, Tuna, and Arnie.

Well, I don't have nearly as deep a collection as some of you. If I had to dump everything but three, mine would be: 1. Kinetic GMT SUN005 2. SRP311 "Stratomonster" 3. Lord Marvel 36000 5740-8000

Some truly great stuff! That 6215 is unreal and would make my list....if I was lucky enough to own one!
The charcoal baby panda, the 7017, the Rally divers... All excellent and very worthy!
Keep em coming!
