I’m thinking of playing along with a couple of pieces, just out of fun. I’ve some vintage Pulsars as well as a 7123 and an 8223. Given the shitty reputation of the 7123 it’d be interesting to see how that one performs.

Bummer! I have some 70's era Seiko twin quartz models that are crazy accurate. Cool challenge though! Could you put one of those twin quartz in as a control? And use it to compare to one of your other non “haq” watches. I’d be really interested to see how a vintage twin compares. Dialed in and ready to go coach! L - R: 3 Twin Quartz, Majesta, 9F GS, 7548

I think I will be an interesting comp. 7th April will be the start date and the time to calibrate to a time server. I guess it’s time to decide which online sever to use? L-R Arnie 558 adjusted once that seems to have landed on a sweet spot. Tissot Sea touch. As it came out of the box. 7a38 if no one else is submitting one. The token 754x movement by Pulsar. Y563.

A reminder that I will be starting this challenge this Sunday. The 7th If April. I will post a new thread with the rules, prizes and updates throughout the contest. Briefly: It will go for a month. 7 April to 7th May.
You will have the 24 hrs of you’re time zone on Sunday to enter. You will need to have a pic of your competing watch with a pic of the time and date from an internet based time server. This will be the same process on the 7th May.
You will only be entering 1 watch for the purposes of the comp. but feel free to test as many watches as you like and report on their progress.
You cannot adjust the time of your watch through this comp in any way.
The watch you have entered needs to be worn at least once a week during the comp and displayed on the WRUW thread for that day.
I think the rules are pretty clear and the comp will be fun and informative.
Please let me know if you see any flaws in my rules or comp and share. Cam

I think the wearing it once a week bit means it’ll be my Arnie!
