Inbound... 7025-8099 “Poor Man’s MAS” from ‘77. This one comes from GuyJ presorted so no concerns about how it ticks or if it’s honest. On original H-Link bracelet to boot. These are the more rare variant as they were only produced in ‘77 from June to December. Sellers Pics:

Rattles when it’s winding but keeping good time so far. It sits super comfortable on the wrist, but I have not found a bracelet yet, but I like it on a tropic too

Trying to source one is past looking for Hen’s Teeth and I wanted the complete package. It will be relisted if you’re interested.

Well Todd, suffice to say you've been on quite a roll and given this latest revelation I have to say the first thing that came to mind was a line from Top Gun....."Gutsy call, Mav"

Landed a 'United Arrows' STBR011. I had been hemming-and-hawing for the last few weeks about buying a new one from Japan. Just couldn't quite bring myself to spend $400+. Then this slightly used one popped up on Ebay from a US seller (a rare actual auction), and I won it for about 35% less than I would have spent on Buyee. Comes with full kit.
These are not a Limited Edition, but seem tougher to find than nearly any other STBRxxx...even the ones that are Limited Editions. When you do find them there never really seems to be any discount from MSRP. Apparently, it was purchased at the United Arrows store in Tokyo this past February.
Love the look of the watch Oh, and I am still too lazy to Google 'United Arrows' and find out what the hell it is.

Incoming... JDM Seiko 5 Sports Speedtimer from Dec. ‘73 Cal. 6139-8040 Completely original on full length 5 Sports Bracelet. Win. Fantastic! Talk about time capsule condition. December '73 is my birth month and year!
You've got a real nice choice select vintage collection.
I currently have 3 SpeedTimers out for service. Can't wait to post them. It's like waiting for Christmas as a kid.

As per the conversation on the board on the other 7002's that I didn't know existed. I did some research on them. The day after this popped with horrible pics. It was only 35 bucks shipped, so I said why not. What I got today is a near mint example on the original strap. Thanks guys, always something new to learn. I'd like to see some of yours.

Well, I finally snagged a very nice “Transitional” 7548-7010 from June of ‘85. “Professional” still in that red to orange color way! Hair pulling experience getting this one as the proxy service I use had server issues 20 minutes before the auction close. Said a few prayers to the “Watch Gods” who obliged... proxy back up and running just minutes before I slipped in a snipe bid... “It’s mine I think!!!” But, wait... auction gets extended 5 minutes... ugh... coming to a close again, “It’s mine I think again!!!” Nope. Extended again and at this point I’m just like whatever... Then, it ended. No one else bid! Check my event list... I won. Oh, and that strap will get tossed immediately upon its arrival. So... here it is... and worth the bumpy ride...
